Take the time today to exercise your right to vote in PA's primary election.  Who is for or against the natural gas drilling in PA?  If this issue is important to you, then go into the voting booth knowing where your candidates stand.

We the people of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania call for a complete moratorium of all natural gas and oil drilling activities, including exploration, until a time when the processes involved do not affect the environment (including land, air and water) and the health of the population in any negative manner what so ever.

As trustee of these resources, the Commonwealth shall conserve and maintain them for the benefit of all the people.” What most alarms and outrages fish and wildlife advocates is that the state’s equally alarmed and outraged professional resource managers have been sidelined by big-money politics."

Wednesday, May 19 @ 7pm there will be a community showing of the riveting documentary SPLIT ESTATE..  The event will take place at the Pine Creek Methodist Church in Gaines, PA.  The church is located on the north side of US route 6 between Gaines and Galeton, PA, just east of the Potter/Tioga county line.

New blog telling our stories

Elizabeth Berkowitz, blogger for "How Should We Do The Mountain?" (and whom Protect the Endless Mtns recently joined forces with on our Facebook page), has a fantastic new blog entitled "Faces of Frackland."  Her new blog tells the stories of 20+ people and growing--stories documenting how the natural gas industry which has invaded our state is affecting actual local residents.  For her efforts, Elizabeth was recently interviewed on WENY.
